Samuel A. Bradbury

I'm a software engineer focused on building infrastructure for bitcoin and financial systems. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Cobalt, where I'm helping build the missing API layer for the healthcare industry.

Background

I spent nearly five years at Unchained Capital, progressing from trading operations to data engineering to software team lead. During that time, I built data analytics infrastructure used across the company, automated hundreds of hours of operational work, and eventually led a team managing critical bitcoin, lending, and trading systems.

Before entering the bitcoin industry, I was a founding employee at Dollar Driver Club, where I built custom inventory management systems and automated resale operations. I studied Economics at The University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Business.

Technical Focus

My work centers on building reliable, secure systems for handling sensitive data. I'm experienced with Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and modern data tools like dbt and Dagster. I care deeply about data integrity, system reliability, and building infrastructure that teams can depend on.

Beyond Code

When I'm not working, you'll find me fly fishing in Texas rivers, bowhunting, or working on leathercraft projects. I'm an Ironman 140.6 Arizona finisher and stay involved in environmental stewardship efforts, particularly through organizations like Trout Unlimited.
